As usual, it is believed that the need for labor resources and capital in the new land, and as a result in our economy, allowed the white population to quickly achieve a high standard of living.

 The Population of Siberia in the 17th Century: the Existing Approaches to the Problem of the Mathematical Model of Population

 The article dicuseses the problem of mathematical model of population growth in Siberiain the 17th century. Some issues were put forward in our works of 2016. Several scholars tried to construct a model of population growth of the entire globe in a period of known human history and predict how this growth will develop in the future and the results it could produce.

 Background of the City of Kemerovo: Demographic and Infrastructure Dynamics of the Proto-Urban Settlements in Tom in 1850–1920

 In the 18th century, Russian settlements appeared in the middle reaches of the Tom river: Ust-Iskitimskoe village, Kemerovo villages, Krasny Yar, Kuro-Iskitimskaya, Davydova, Borovaya, Evseeva and Kedrovka. Their bicentennial history is of great interest, as in the first third of the 20th century, the city of Kemerovo was formed based on them, and by now it has become one of the largest economical, administrative, and cultural centers in the east of the country.

 The article presents a summary of data on morbidity in Eastern Siberia. The effect of various factors on the spread of different types of infections is considered. Much attention is paid to the impact of health actions on the structural elements of the epidemic process. The specificity of the development of the epidemic process of the main groups of acute diseases in Eastern Siberia is revealed.

 Demographic Processes in Historic Towns of the Angara-Yeniseiregion in 1950s –1970s

 Active migration processes change the picture of demographic dynamics in industrial centers, but in historical towns the migration does not have such an impact. Consider the dynamics of the data used in estimating the demographic transition during the period between the 1959 and 1979 censuses, on the materials of three historical towns of the Angara-Yenisei region: Yeniseisk, Minusinsk and Nizhneudinsk.

 The article discusses the town-planning aspects of the development of closed administrative-territorial formations of the Ministry of Medium Machine Building of the USSR in the context of urbanization processes in Western and Eastern Siberia. The peculiarity of the Soviet cities-newly built in Siberia was their pronounced dependence on the city-forming enterprises.

 The Incidence of Tuberculosis in the Population of the RSFSR in the 1960s: a Demographic Study

 The article is based on mainly archival data from current medical and health statistics it considers factors in the morbidity of the population of the RSFSR of tuberculosis and mortality from it, as well as methods to combat this dangerous disease in the 1960s. The relevance of such study is enhanced in the XXI century under conditions of distribution of morbidity of the Russian population due to socially significant diseases, including tuberculosis.
