DOI: 10.31518/2618-9100-2019-4-15
The article is based on mainly archival data from current medical and health statistics it considers factors in the morbidity of the population of the RSFSR of tuberculosis and mortality from it, as well as methods to combat this dangerous disease in the 1960s. The relevance of such study is enhanced in the XXI century under conditions of distribution of morbidity of the Russian population due to socially significant diseases, including tuberculosis. It is noted that the emergence and spread of tuberculosis is due to the influence of adverse social conditions on the human body. In such conditions biological agents of tuberculosis successfully develop. In the 1960s, in the RSFSR, environmental factors associated with pollution of water, air, soil, among others, created a danger for tuberculosis in all age groups. It is shown that tuberculosis infection affects different organs: bones, joints, skin, gastrointestinal tract, eyes, etc. However, the most common form is tuberculosis of the respiratory system. The risk of infection with tuberculosis increases markedly in contact with the patient’s active form of the disease. It is emphasized that tuberculosis has not only active, but also inactive form. The patient in this condition is not dangerous to the people around them. Nevertheless, the danger of this form remains, as inactive tuberculosis under certain conditions can turn into active. Special attention is paid to the study of preventive examinations of the population in the RSFSR for the purpose of early detection of tuberculosis patients. We study the forms of implementation of sanitary measures arising in the tuberculosis foci. Methods of treatment of active forms of tuberculosis are shown. The factor of improvement of living and working conditions of the population of RSFSR is noted. It is emphasized that all the social, sanitary, medical and recreational activities carried out in the RSFSR together contributed to the reduction of not only morbidity but also mortality from tuberculosis.
