Library and Information Exchange is the Most Important Area of Russian-Chinese Interactions (Experience, Potential and Capabilities of the State Public Scientific and Technical Library of the SB RAS)

The article highlights the key areas of library and information exchange within the framework of the international activities of the State Public Scientific and Technical Library of the SB RAS as a scientific, information and cultural center in Siberia and the Far East. The stages of scientific work on the creation of full-text databases of the SPNTB SB RAS of its own generation are considered as the basis for information support of scientific research. The assessment of the results of this work and the prospects for the development of library and information exchange with Chinese scientific and scientific and technical organizations are analyzed. Issues of humanitarian cooperation with various libraries in the PRC are covered.
