Modern Regional Reference Books Devoted to Water Resources of Russia: Annotated List

The list of reference publications (encyclopedias, reference books, dictionaries, guidebooks) devoted to water communications of Russia is presented. According to the subject matter, the publications included in the list can be divided into natural science (providing information on geography, hydrology, biology, etc.), historical and chronological (providing information about the historical development in chronology, describing the history of military operations in the region), art history (bibliographic catalogs of reproductions related to the region). A previously unreleased list of publications published from 1992 to 2021 describing the hydro library (collection of water resources) of the country is published. The bibliographic list is compiled by regions. This publication should be regarded as a recommendation (introductory) thematic list of literature, which to some extent will allow the reader to lift the veil over interesting (sometimes unexpected) aspects of studying the native land.
