Tolerance, Patriotism and Social Well-Being of Modern Students

 The article discusses the results of a study conducted in preparation for the International Scientific Conference “Resistance Movement of Soviet and European Citizens” on the influence of tolerance and patriotism on the formation of spiritual and moral values of student youth. The statement of the research problem reflects the peculiarities of the formation of spiritual and moral values of modern students receiving social education. A great role in this process is given to the formation of tolerance and patriotic feelings through international research cooperation, humanitarian cooperation of young people and scientists from different countries for the benefit of the world. The presented results of the sociological survey clarify the peculiarities of youth perception of issues of patriotism and tolerance in the context of academic migration processes in modern Russia. The study identifies the main reasons for the substitution of the concepts of patriotism and nationalism in the modern youth environment.
