The paper is devoted to the analysis of deviant behavior of military personnel in the Siberian corps units, who had previous experience of participation in military conflicts during the middle and 2nd half of the 18th century. The source base of the study was the data contained in the formulary lists of officers in the field and garrison units of the corps for the period of 1770s − 1780s. According to the lists, a little more than 40 men, who had combat experience and committed certain offenses while already serving in Siberia, were identified. Almost all of these officers served in garrison units, which was due either to their advanced age or to injuries and damage to health sustained during the war. Also, the vast majority of these officers belonged to unprivileged groups by social origin. It was found out that these officers were guilty of either official and disciplinary misconduct, or crimes of a material and financial nature, only one of the identified cases was related to murder. We can conclude that the experience of war did not have too serious negative impact on these people, and certain examples of the deviant behavior, which they had demonstrated, depended rather on their personal characteristics. For some of them, the offenses committed did not even prevent further successful career. We have a reason to assume that in the 2nd half of the 18th century combatants were able to adapt to after-war life and continue to serve in peaceful conditions, even in such a remote region of the Russian Empire as Siberia.
