Scientific Seminar “Population Mortality and Health Care Development in Soviet Russia”

 

 On April 15, 2024, a scientific seminar “Population mortality and health care development in Soviet Russia” was held, organized by the Institute of Demographic Research of the Federal Research Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Sector of Agrarian and Demographic Research of the Institute of History of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The review presents the work of the seminar. The participants are reported, the content of the presented reports and the conclusions obtained by the authors are briefly described. Most of the materials of the reports presented at the seminar formed the basis of the articles published in this issue of the journal “Istoricheskiy Kurier” (“Historical Courier”) of the Institut of History of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
