The publication focuses on one of the last texts of Anatoly Levitin-Krasnov, written after his visit to Moscow in April 1990. Forced to emigrate from the Soviet Union in 1976, the Orthodox writer, human rights activist and socialist Anatoly Levitin-Krasnov turned from an active participant of religious life in the Soviet Union and Cold War activist to a passive observer on the other side of the iron curtain. Coming to Moscow 15 years later, Anatoly Levitin-Krasnov hastened to share his observations about religious revival and public initiatives of the Orthodox clergy. This text allows to identify the circle of communication of Levitin-Krasnov in Moscow after his emigration.
