Academic Lavrentyev Avenue – the Most “Clever” Street in the World

The historical experience acquired during creation of Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science (SB RAS) including ideas of the first chairmen – Academic M. A. Lavrentyev is currently used for the development of ambitious mega-projects “Akademgorodok 2.0” and “Siberian Technopolis”. The goal of this article is to introduce in scientific circulation the idea of representing the Academic Lavrentyev Avenue as the most “clever” street in the world (based on the Guinness World Records). This idea was developed by the researchers from the department “Museum of SB RAS”. The article focuses on forming new creative ways to popularize prominent persons in the history of Russian and world sciences, and on including some forms of public memory into modern sociocultural context.
